Calabasas Saddlery Shopping

Calabasas is a go-to tack shop for many So-Cal’s equestrians, here are some reasons why:

Calabasas Saddlery has a wide selection of equestrian wants and needs for any and all disciplines, whether you are a competitive dressage rider or a once a week trail rider you are sure to find something to your liking. In the event you can’t find what you’re looking for or if you’re not sure what you’ve picked is right for you, the kind and helpful staff are always ready and willing to lend a hand. Calabasas Saddlery is also associated with 2 animal rescues, Riley’s Rescue and California Coastal Horse Rescue, and 6 equestrian associations, including the Tri-valley Horse Show Association, Pierce College Equestrian Center,  and the Dressage Association of Southern California, among others.

The Selections

This well loved saddlery sells everything from blankets softer than an unclipped horse and adorable riding apparel, to every piece of tack and tack cleaner under the sun. They even have a whole section devoted to Breyer’s, books, and toys that can keep any young equestrian entertained, no matter how silly the toy might seem. The front of the store is occupied by the kid’s corner, popular clothing brands, check out desk, treat section, and the grooming supplies area. Straight ahead from the front door is a flight of stairs leading down to their helmets and apparel section where there is a nice, plush couch for customers to sit on as they try on boots, helmets, and apparel. Behind this are English saddles, tack care products, and miscellaneous equestrian essentials. Through another doorway you find your bareback pads, fly masks, girths and any western tack you could possibly need. Calabasas Saddlery holds two annual “Swap Meets”, a buzzing flea market of used and unused equestrian goods from any and all disciplines to cover a wide array of wants and needs.
